Unclaimed Deposits

As per RBI’s guidelines, banks are advised to display the list of unclaimed deposits/ inoperative accounts which are inoperative for ten years or more on bank’s website and keep updating at regular intervals.

You can search for details of unclaimed deposit by providing your name in the ‘search box’ given below and If your name and address is matching with the data available in the search results, kindly approach the concerned branch for revival / refund of the deposit with necessary documents as proof of deposit.

In case of death of account holder, Nominee (or legal heir in case of non-individual account) should visit the home branch for further procedure.

Procedure for reviving Inoperative accounts / Unclaimed Deposits :

  • In order to revive inoperative account or unclaimed deposit, customers shall submit an application along with KYC documents to the branch where the account is maintained. Application should be signed by all the joint account holders if it is in joint names.
