Technology Implementation

We are at present doing business with 16 branches and 2 extension counters which are adequately supported by Data Centre and Head Office at Kalyan. All the branches and head office are under CBS (Core Banking Solution) . The CBS of the Bank is supported by Infrasoftech 'OMNI Enterprise' solution. All the branches of the Bank are connected to the Central Site at Thane and DR site is situated at Kalyan which is replicated every 30 minutes. The Bank is ably supported by Engineers in Software and Hardware. The Bank is in the process of implementing business processes re-engineering to reap the benefit of CBS so also to offer variety of products to its customers. Bank has also established Treasury department with NDS/RTGS , CBLO facilities with member of NEFT & SFMS.

Bank is proposing to build verticle business models such has Centralised Retail Banking, Centralised Recovery Cell in the immediate future. With the help of CBS, Bank has commenced operations of credit monitoring cell as well as centralized recovery cell and centralized processing cell . In line with various technologically advanced banks, the Bank has started Offsite ATM & SMS Banking services to customers and also planning to extend Net Banking facility for the benefit of the customers within a year or so.

Bank has launched interactive website www.kalyanjanata.in so as to make it accessible to the consumers and public at large. Every new branch location proposed by the Bank will function under CBS environment from day one with on-site ATM & Cheque Depository Machine. Bank has at present 10 ATMs which are onsite at the branches & One offsite ATM opposite Kalyan Railway Station so as to cater to the needs of consumers whose number at present is above 1.40 lacs. Bank has also applied for Multiprotocol Lable Switching (MPLS) for its NDS and RTGS operations as per the instructions of IDBRT.

Bank has taken over a bank at Satara named Satara Merchants Co-op Bank having its 4 locations at and around Satara and functioning of the centres with CBS are Starting from 3 rd Oct 2009. Now the total branches of the bank would be 19 plus two extention counters.

Bank is planning to share our ATM network with Other Bank's ATM network so that customer can get benefit of withdrawing money from almost 5000 ATM centres of other bank across the country.

Bank is shortly going to have its own datacenter and data recovery site. This proves the technological might of the bank.
